New £200m M&S warehouse at Essex port

Marks and Spencer is to build a major new £200 million distribution centre at the London Gateway port in the Thames Estuary in Essex.

The planned 900,000 sq ft distribution centre will be used to store clothing, home and gifts before they are transported to UK and international M&S stores. Marks & Spencer will begin construction of the new facility in 2014 subject to planning permission.
