Queen observes silence for Sir Henry

The Queen took part in a minute's silence on the opening day of the Royal Ascot festival in memory of Sir Henry Cecil.

The Newmarket horse trainer died last week at the age of 70. He had been battling cancer. During his career Sir Henry produced 75 winners at Royal Ascot, more than any other trainer.

A year ago today he was watching the his unbeatable racehorse Frankel win the first race of the day, The Queen Anne Stakes.
