Norwich City goalkeeper Declan Rudd has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club.

The Canaries have also confirmed that Rudd will spend the impending campaign on loan at Preston North End, where he enjoyed a fruitful spell last season.

The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Carrow Road, making 18 appearances to date, but has found first-team opportunities limited in recent times due to the form of John Ruddy and Mark Bunn.
