Cambridgeshire racing driver Oliver Jarvis has finished third in the Le Mans 24 hour race for the second year running. Jarvis, who was born in Burwell, was racing with the number 3 Audi team. They lost several laps after a tyre shredded, but still managed to make the podium.

The race was overshadowed by the death of Denmark's Allan Simonsen: the first fatality since 1997.
