MK Dons defender Gary MacKenzie has left the club to join Championship side Blackpool.
The Scottish centre-half spent time on loan with the Seasiders last season, and has now signed a two-year contract to stay at Bloomfield Road until 2015.
The 27-year-old made 79 appearances over a three-year spell with the Dons and was a key player in two play-off campaigns.
MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told the club's official website that he couldn't stand in MacKenzie's way.
"Gary has been a tremendous servant to this Football Club and has matured both on and off the pitch during his time in Milton Keynes.
It is not in this Club’s nature to stand in the way of a player’s own personal progression and the opportunity to play in the Championship, and perhaps get the Scotland cap that currently eludes him, is too good to turn down.”
