One of the greatest Olympians of all time has been in the region today in a bid to promote a schools sport initiative.
Sir Steve Redgrave was visiting Southwood Primary School in Milton Keynes as part of the Sporting Promise Programme which provides sports training resources for teachers.
He took part in sports day and talked to children about the importance of sport for exercise and having fun. He said it was vital to get youngsters involved in sport.
