The latest crime figures are out and a fall of 9 percent in the last year means they are down to their lowest levels since the survey began in 1981.
But a separate report suggests 5 police forces including Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire will struggle to cope with a 20 percent cut to their budget by 2015.
