Ipswich Town have signed young Waterford United winger Jack Doherty on a two-year deal.
The Tractor Boys have decided to offer a contract to the 18-year-old after he impressed manager Mick McCarthy whilst on trial with the club.
The move will be finalised tomorrow when the relevant paperwork is completed.
Doherty is Town's ninth signing of the summer, and their third capture in just over a week, with Christophe Berra and Frederic Veseli also committing to the club in the last seven days.
