Ipswich Town striker Michael Chopra left the club to join Championship rivals Blackpool.
It ends a two-year stay in Suffolk for the former Newcastle United trainee, who had fallen out of favour recently after being put on the transfer list.
The 29-year-old has agreed a one-year contract, with the option of a further year, with Paul Ince's outfit.
Chopra scored 19 goals in 81 appearances during his time at Portman Road.
