Peterborough United have signed highly-rated goalkeeper Charlie Horton.
The American shot stopper has been on trial with the club this summer and had reportedly caught the attention of teams higher up the football pyramid.
However, Horton has decided to commit to Posh and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the London Road side.
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson told the club's official website that the 18-year-old could turn out to be an inspired signing.
"Charlie has got a lot of potential and we look forward to working with him and trying to develop that potential. He is a big lad, at 6"4, and is someone we have been looking at in training."
