Two men who broke into the home of a retired farmer in Cambridgeshire and bludgeoned him to death after robbing him have been found guilty of his murder.
A jury took less than two hours to convict Gary Smith and Frankie Parker. Police today described them both as career criminals.
They say the men saw Llywelyn Thomas as an easy target when they attacked him at his home in Chittering near Ely in December 2011.
