East Midlands Trains, which runs services to Luton, Bedford, Corby, Peterborough and Norwich, is to take legal action against a trade union this week.
The company claims the transport union RMT 'invented' a dispute which led to its members banning overtime a week ago. The RMT says it will defend its position. It claimed there had been a breakdown in industrial relations over a number of issues.
