Call to make beaches more accessible

Seaside resorts are being urged to make sure our beaches are made more accessible for people with disabilities.

As the tourist season is in full swing across the East of England, the Government wants local authorities to work with community disability groups to make changes.

The Minister for Disabled People, Esther McVey says it is important there is equal access across beaches for everyone.
