The body of a 12-year-old boy has been pulled from a river after he was seen entering the water last night.
Cambridgeshire Police and other emergency services launched a search after reports that the boy did not resurface after going into the River Cam at Lammas Land, the Fen Causeway, on the outskirts of Cambridge at about 6pm.
"Emergency services recovered the body of the boy, who was deceased, at about 3am."
