Councillors in Essex will meet today to decide the future of a school threatened with closure.
Deanes School in Thundersley, near Southend, has struggled with falling pupil numbers and the local authority is not sure whether it can afford to keep it open.
Parents, unions and Castle Point MP Rebecca Harris plan to protest outside the county council as they continue to fight the proposed closure.
