A man who died in a diving incident off the coast of Lowestoft in Suffolk is thought to be a 49-year-old man from Brixton in London.
Police were contacted at around 3.30pm yesterday to reports that a diver had died and was being airlifted to the James Paget Hospital at Gorleston.
The incident happened about 17 miles offshore.
