A man has been found guilty of the murder of 19-year-old Rachel Manning, whose boyfriend Barri White was wrongly convicted of the killing.
41-year-old Shahidul Ahmed of Bletchley, was convicted after a trial at Luton Crown Court.
Rachel, 19, went missing after attending a 1970s-themed fancy dress party in Milton Keynes in December 2000. Her body was found in the grounds of the Woburn Golf course two days later.She had been strangled and, after her death, her face was disfigured by a car stop-lock.
