The inquest into the death of a 12-year-old boy whose body was recovered from the River Cam in Cambridge is due to take place today.
Andrew Collings is thought to have got into difficulty after going into the river on the the evening of the 27 August. Police found his body the next day.
Emergency services began the search after reports that Andrew had not resurfaced after going into the river at Lammas Land, the Fen Causeway, at about 6pm. Friends are said to have tried to rescue him, but to no avail.
The coroner's inquest is scheduled to take place in Huntingdon this afternoon.
