Many of us could have Type 2 diabetes

More than 90,000 people in the East could have undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes.

The figures were released by Diabetes UK as part of a new campaign to raise awareness of the disease, and the consequences if it's left undiagnosed.

Diabetes is a common life-long health condition. There are 3 million people diagnosed with either Type1 or Type2 diabetes in the UK and an estimated 850,000 people who have the condition, but don’t know it.
