Compensation for men wrongly convicted over teenager Rachel Manning's murder

A man who was wrongly jailed in connection with the murder of teenager Rachel Manning has given his reaction to the news that he is to receive compensation.

Keith Hyatt was jailed in 2002 and spent two and a half years in prison before his conviction for perverting the course of justice was quashed.

Barri White, Miss Manning's former boyfriend, was wrongly jailed for her murder.Earlier this month, another man was found guilty of the killing.

It is not yet known how much money the pair will receive in compensation from the Ministry of Justice although a deal has now been struck.

Eleven years after his world was turned upside down, Matthew Hudson went to see Mr Hyatt at his home.
