Man arrested in Caribbean over Luton murder

A man has been arrested in Trinidad on suspicion of murdering Luton man Jordan Maguire.

Jason Nelson, 30, is from Grenada and used to live in Luton. He was arrested on the Caribbean island on Wednesday on behalf of Bedfordshire Police.

Bedfordshire's Major Crime Unit has been liaising with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service over the past fortnight. The extradition process has begun but could take a few months to complete.

Jordan Maguire, 20, was stabbed to death at his home in Thrales Close on Sunday 26 May.
