A man is due to appear in court today charged with a bomb hoax offence following an incident at a leisure centre.
Police were called to the centre in Sudbury at around 9.45pm on Friday to reports that a man had made threats to a member of staff and thrown a small ignited item into a room.
The item was extinguished immediately and no damage was caused or anyone injured.
James Hasler, who is 33-years-old and from Woodhall Road in Sudbury, has also been charged with production of a controlled class B drug (cannabis) and possession of a controlled class B drug (cannabis).
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court today.
