A sex attacker who tried to rape a woman as she walked to work in Peterborough, apologised to her and offered her his phone to call police.
Detectives said the victim, who had not been living in the UK for long, managed to escape and later reported the attempted rape to a charity.
Today, Khalid Abdullah, 35, of Towler Street in Peterborough, was jailed for eight years.
