Colchester United have signed promising West Ham United striker Elliot Lee on a month's loan.
The 18-year-old has been in prolific form for the Hammers' development side so far this season, hitting five goals in six Barclays U21 Premier League appearances.
Lee also made his debut for West Ham's senior team in August, coming on as a late substitute in a 1-0 home defeat to Stoke City.
The teenager could be in line for his first appearance for the U's in tonight's League One clash against Shrewsbury Town.
