Colchester United have announced the loan signing of young Bolton Wanderers defender Cian Bolger.
The Republic of Ireland under-21 international has agreed a 28-day deal to stay at the Weston Homes Community Stadium until mid-November.
21-year-old Bolger joined Bolton from Championship rivals Leicester City in January, but has yet to make a first team appearance for Dougie Freedman's side.
The U's will be Bolger's second loan club, with the Irishman having spent three temporary spells at Bristol Rovers since 2011.
Bolger is the second arrival at Colchester United this week, following the capture of West Ham United striker Elliot Lee on Tuesday.
