Northampton Town have signed Peterborough United midfielder Kane Ferdinand on a month's loan.
The 21-year-old has found first-team opportunities hard to come by of late at London Road and has now joined Aidy Boothroyd's League Two strugglers in the hope of regaining his match sharpness.
Ferdinand joined Peterborough from Southend United in 2012, and made 16 starts and 17 substitute appearances as Posh were relegated from the Championship.
Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd told the club's official website that he was happy to land his man:
“Kane is a very attack minded player who can play anywhere in midfield.
“He’s someone we’ve been watching for a while and he will bring more energy to the midfield."
