A new deep water container port on the banks of the River Thames in Essex, has been officially opened.
The London Gateway at Thurrock will be able to handle some of the largest ships in the world.
It will also have the biggest logistics park in Europe where containers will be stored and loaded.
It will be in direct competition with Felixstowe in Suffolk, the UK's largest container port, but Paul Dawson, the Managing Director at the Deben Transport haulage firm says that won't cause a problem.
