Suffolk schools criticised by Ofsted

The standard of schooling in Suffolk has been strongly criticised by Ofsted. The education watchdog carried out 33 focused inspections, and nearly a fifth of those schools were judged to be inadequate.

It revealed that Suffolk now has a higher proportion of pupils being taught at inadequate schools than both the regional and national averages.
