Special award for profoundly deaf girl

A girl who is profoundly deaf as been named Young Learner of the year. 13-year-old Golofnira came to Peterborough in 2012, with no knowledge of the English Language.

Now she has been recognised in the Signature Annual Awards. She passed her level one award in British Sign Language, in two months.

Something that takes adults at least one year to achieve.

Special award for Deaf student

A 13-year old student from Peterborough who is profoundly deaf has been named the "Young Learner of the year". Golofnira Zadran was given the title in the 2013 Signature Annual Awards.
