Ipswich Town star Aaron Cresswell has signed a new contract with the club which will keep him at Portman Road until 2017.
The talented left-back has reportedly attracted plenty of admiring glances from the Premier League during his time in Suffolk, with the likes of West Brom, Aston Villa and Everton all previously linked with his services.
Many Tractor Boys fans will have feared losing the 23-year-old in January after a series of impressive performances so far this season.
However, speaking to the club's official website, Cresswell says that signing the contract hasn't signalled the end of his ambitions to play in the top flight:
“I am really enjoying my football here. There is a good feel about the place and it’s enjoyable coming to work every day.
“I feel I have progressed as a player and like any professional, I want to get to the top and that means playing in the Premier League. Hopefully I can do that with Ipswich.”
In a further boost, young striker Jack Marriott has also committed his future to Town by signing a new contract until 2015.
The 19-year-old is currently on loan at Woking.
