Suffolk Police have confirmed they are investigating the death of former film star Jean Kent after she was found collapsed at her home near Stowmarket.
Miss Kent, who was 92, was in films alongside Marilyn Monroe, Laurence Olivier and James Mason during the forties and fifties.
She was found in her home at Westhorpe by a housekeeper last month and died in hospital two days later.
Police say they are treating her death as 'unexplained.'
Forensic teams have searched her home.
