Pub staff assaulted in city centre fight

More than a dozen men made homophobic comments and assaulted three pub workers during a fight in Norwich.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the brawl at the Kings Pub on King Street yesterday evening.

It happened at about 5.30pm. A group of 15 men, who were described as white and thought to be in their 20s and 30s, were asked to leave the pub.

A fight broke out during which the men made homophobic comments and three members of staff were assaulted.

All three were injured in the attack.
