Stabbing victim in stable condition

A man stabbed by a gang in Ipswich has been transferred to Addenbrookes hospital.

The 42 year old was attacked in Dillwyn Street on the evening of Saturday 4th January.

Its thought the attack may have started inside a flat but then spilled out onto the street.

The victim suffered multiple stab wounds including a collapsed lung and was initially taken to Ipswich hospital but was later transferred to Addenbrookes where he is now said to be in a stable condition.

Police believe there may have been four offenders and are trying to trace them.
