Woman released on bail in connection with stabbing

A 24-year-old woman arrested in connection with the stabbing of an Ipswich man has been released on police bail.

Police were called to a flat in Dillwyn Street on Saturday evening where they found a man, 42, with stab wounds. He is in a stable condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

Last night, Sunday 5 January, police arrested the woman on suspicion of conspiracy to commit GBH.

She was taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and has subsequently been released on police bail. She is due to return on Monday 3 February.
