A former BBC radio presenter who was jailed for sexually abusing boys over two decades is to appeal.

Michael Souter, of Low Bungay Road, Loddon, in Norfolk, was dubbed a "predatory paedophile" following a trial late last year.

The 60-year-old former BBC Radio Norfolk presenter was jailed for 22 years after being found guilty of 26 offences including indecent assault, indecency with a child, and serious sexual offences.

Today, the Court of Appeal confirmed papers had been lodged against both his conviction and sentence.
