Campaign to make pavements safer for disabled people in Cambridge

Campaign calls for safer pavements for disabled people.

A campaign to make pavements safer for disabled people in Cambridge is calling on more people to help identify areas that need attention.

Paralympic hopeful Claire Connon, who hopes to row at Rio 2016, gave local MP Julian Huppert a tour of the city in December, to show how difficult cracked and broken pavements can make it for those with disabilities.

A petition calling for more investment in pavements will be presented to Cambridgeshire County Council in March.
