Damon Albarn will appear at this year's Latitude festival in his first ever solo headline performance.
The Blur frontman is also known for his side projects Gorillaz, supergroup The Good, The Bad and The Queen and his Mali Music collaboration.
Albarn confirmed his appearance at the Suffolk event after the announcement earlier today that he will release his first official solo album in April.
His performance in the Saturday night slot on July 19 will showcase material from his hotly anticipated album Everyday Robots.
A festival spokesman said: "Damon Albarn is a perfect fit for such an innovative festival and now audiences will be delighted to see him appear for his first ever festival performance as a solo artist."
