Police officers are attending a reported shooting outside Shenfield Rail Station.
Officers from British Transport Police and Essex Police were called to the station just before 6am this morning after reports of a man with leg injuries in the car park at the station.
The man who is in his forties with injuries to his leg, he was taken to Basildon Hospital. His injuries are currently not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have yet to confirm details surrounding the incident.
