Peterborough United are set to sign Newport County striker Conor Washington after the clubs agreed a fee for the highly-rated forward.
The 21-year-old will undergo a medical later today and discuss personal terms.
Posh striker Shaun Jeffers will move in the opposite direction as part of the deal.
Fellow Cambridgeshire side St Ives town could also benefit from the transfer, with the non-league outfit having reportedly negotiated a 20% sell-on clause following Washington's switch to Wales in 2012.
