East of England Ambulance Trust told to improve 999 response times

East of England Ambulance Trust told it must improve 999 response times.

The East of England Ambulance Trust's been told it must improve 999 response times as well as increasing staffing levels in a new report.

An inspection carried out by the Care Quality Commission in December found the trust did not meet the correct standards of care for people on life-threatening calls.

They were also critical of low staffing levels. But the CQC also said that the Trust had made significant progress in other areas, with the number of complaints against them reducing.
