Northampton Town have signed experienced defender Leon McSweeney on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old began his career Cork City, before earning a move to Leicester City in 2001.
Irishman McSweeney, who has also played for the likes of Leyton Orient and Hartlepool United, has penned a deal until the end of the season.
McSweeney joins Alan Connell and Ricky Ravenhill in signing on at Sixfields today.
