A petition set up by campaigners fighting to save a Huntingdon museum from closure has seen a boost, hitting their target of three thousand signatures.

The Friends of Cromwell Museum group is opposed to plans in Cambridgeshire County Council's draft budget to withdraw funding, which they fear will lead to inevitable closure.

Reaching three thousand signatures means the issue must now be debated at a full council meeting.
