Peterborough United striker Nicky Ajose has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for January.
The award marks a remarkable turnaround for Ajose, who was loaned out to Swindon Town earlier in the season after not featuring in manager Darren Ferguson's plans.
The 22-year-old has been in blistering form since his return to London Road however, hitting five goals last month and bagging a hat-trick against Notts County.
The former Manchester United man beat off competition from Brentford's Marcelo Trotta, Leyton Orient defender Scott Cuthbert and Rotherham United's James Tavernier to land the accolade.
