Teenager jailed for string of burglaries

A teenager has been jailed for more than two years for committing two burglaries in Harlow.

Connor Smithers, 19, of Northbrooks in Harlow, was convicted of burglaries in Rundells and Chippingfield.

He also admitted a further 20 burglaries and eight offences of taking a motor vehicle.

He was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court to two years and three months for the burglaries and a further six months to run consecutively.
