The former girlfriend of one of the men jailed for a series of sex assaults on children today at the Old Bailey has spoken of her shock.
The sex gang were jailed for a total of more than 50 years for a series of rapes and sex assaults against five vulnerable girls in Peterborough.
The offences took place between April and December 2012.
Nikola Terkelyova, the ex partner of 33-year-old Hassan Abdulla, said:
"It makes me feel very stupid, how could I not see it? How could have I been so blind?"
"I've tried to be so good, I did everything for him and in the end I end up with a man that was sleeping with children. Things like that don't happen normally in life."
