Burton Albion defender Zander Diamond has joined League Two strugglers Northampton Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old was a regular in the Burton side that made the League Two play-offs last season, but has fallen out of favour this time around.
The arrival of Diamond will help to soften the blow of losing captain Lee Collins, after he was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign yesterday.
