Our region is criss crossed by thousands of miles of footpaths for walkers to enjoy, but not all of them are on the map. And unless they are officially mapped as rights of way by 2026 they will be lost forever.
It might sound like plenty of time, but the Ramblers' Association is warning that county councils are taking so long to process applications there's a real chance many paths will be lost.
