Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams could be set to join Ipswich Town on loan after the Eagles co-chairman admitted that talks are at an advanced stage.
Steve Parish was quoted in the Croydon Advertiser as saying that the talented Welshman will spend the next month at Portman Road.
20-year-old Williams was a key component of the Palace team that gained promotion to the Premier League last season, and he scored against Ipswich's under-21s on Monday.
"It's pretty much done. He can't be recalled (during that time)," Parish said.
"Jonny is not miles away from the squad, but we might get an injury so we just need to be sensible.
"We had three clubs who wanted him. The manager (Tony Pulis) has got a good relationship with Mick McCarthy.
"Ipswich is a good place for him to go and Jonny is really happy to go there."
