It has emerged that the Suffolk killer Simon Hall was found hanged in his cell at the Norfolk prison he was being held at.
In 2003, Hall was convicted of murdering pensioner Joan Albert in her home near Ipswich. For years he protested his innocence, before admitting his guilt last summer.
Today (Thursday 27 February) an inquest into his death was opened.
