Man who died in sea tragedy has been named

Suffolk police have named the man found in water off the coast of Lowestoft on Monday afternoon, as 43-year old Peter Chambers from Wellesley Road in Great Yarmouth.

Police have still not been able to trace his next-of-kin.

Enquiries are continuing into what happened on behalf of the Coroner and Suffolk police continue to lead the investigation.

It's now known the boat that Mr Chambers was on, left Great Yarmouth harbour on Monday morning for a fishing trip.

Two men from Great Yarmouth have been reported missing.

One of the two missing men is in his 40s, the other in his late 70s.

The boat recovered from the water has been examined and police have taken calls from people who reportedly saw the boat in rough seas between Gorleston and Lowestoft.
